Outdoor Day
Today we had a day off together. We spent it at the local park having a picnic, going for a walk (it was about 75 degrees), and playing on the playground. The girls also enjoyed finding the pine cones and chasing each other through the fresh cut grass... ahhh- it smelled so good!

Doctor Visit
Talk about time flying and little girls growing!!!
Yesterday was Makenzie's 18 month check-up visit. She weighs 26.9 pounds and registered 35 inches tall. Very tall and slender=) The doctor was extremely pleased with all of her skills... it helps having an older sister to get her vocabulary really going. Plus, she didn't even cry this time. Her shots were put off until her 2 year check-up visit.
Kaylie also had a quick check-up. We thought she had a bladder infection. Thankfully she's okay though. She weighs 34 pounds and registered 39 inches tall. Kaylie got to play doctor, using the instruments to help check Makenzie... I think we have a future nurse or doctor in the house!

Radio Disney Day
This past weekend we went to the Melbourne Square Mall and enjoyed Radio Disney Day. As members of the kids' program Kidgits, the girls got to have fun with a life sized Cabbage Patch Doll, the Chick-fil-a Cow and sponsors from Radio Disney holding fun games and book readings. Kaylie got to compete in the "Put your pillow case on with Mickey Hands" contest and was runner up. She also won the raffle for a Newborn Cabbage Patch Doll. Even though Makenzie didn't play any games, she did win a Winnie the Pooh book. They had so much fun with all of their new books, Cd's, goodies and playing with the other little kids. We hang out at the mall a lot since it's a cool place to let the girls run off some energy... nice relaxation time for us too!!!

Lots of Changes
Well, after long deliberations... we decided to begin a blog. This will help us keep family and friends updated on our lives. Our monthly photo e-mails were getting a little difficult to keep up since Yahoo has changed a few things. So here we are.
To start off with... William was given the opportunity to return to the theatre business managing the Rave Theatre here in Viera, Fl. We got all excited about the big change, definitely looking forward to the free movies again. Then came the interview with Steak 'n Shake that changed all our plans. He was offered a raise and promises of having his own restaurant within a year. WAHOO!!! Now he can focus on learning everything needed to become his own General Manager. Not long ago he became an official "Restaurant" Manager after completing his training over in Orlando, Fl.
I no longer work for Kelloggs Snacks. They decided to change their needed hours of availability from me, causing too many conflicts with William's schedule. It's a bummer in the free goodies aspect, but all in all, it's for the best. The good thing is that I never really quit Krispy Kreme. So, I'm continuing my morning schedule there while looking for more opportunities elsewhere. Working 4-5 days a week until 1pm is great so I can spend time with the girls.
Kaylie really enjoys singing and dancing. We're hoping to get her back into gymnastics or maybe even a dance class. Along with her increased physical skills, she has learned how to write a lot of letters and numbers and can recognize them while reading.
Makenzie's favorite thing now is to read. She tells us little stories while we read. Her vocabulary has doubled this past month alone. Our favorite now is hearing her always saying "hi" and "bye" to everyone and everything.
We'll try to post something new every few days. Lots of pictures that's for sure!
