Makenzie Lost Her 1st Tooth!

Makenzie had her first visit from the Tooth Fairy!!! At nearly 4 & 1/2 years old, her first baby tooth decided it was time to say "see ya!". Her tooth moved about three weeks ago, leaving a rather big gap. Makenzie was so eager to wiggle it out, knowing the fun her big sister has had in the past 10 months, losing 7.

She came home from school on the 23rd, asking to pull it out. I grabbed the Orajel and started wiggling... she thought it was "cool". After about half an hour, I said to wait until the next day. William came home shortly after, and asked to help... one minute later and a LOUD POP... it was bleeding and ready to come out. Of course at the sight of blood, she got nervous. I was excited, and asked to be the one to help. With Kaylie, I enjoyed the pre-tooth coming out stuff, but quickly handed it over to her or William.

Makenzie sat with me as it very easily came out...
One last wiggle...
What a proud little girl... she did great!!! Right away, she asked to "get the baggie". Our tradition is to put it in a baggie, hung on the wall leading to the hallway, so the Tooth Fairy knows exactly where it is... not to "drop it and forget to leave the quarter" LOL *HINT-HINT*
She came out with quarter in hand the next morning... YAY, Makenzie!!!

Pampered Chef Independent Consultant

It's been over two and a half years since I became a Stay-At-Home Mom. It's been awesome, having the chance to help grow with my children and share in the special times together. I've missed working at times... the chance to get out and about, interact with other adults, just have "me" time. On the other side though, the time away from the "work field" has helped me to realize I wanted to do my own things, on my own time (as long as it fits in our family's schedule).

I recently became an Independent Pampered Chef Consultant. Basically, it means I sell products through throwing a Cooking Show, teaching and informing people of the wonderful items available through the company. I also do catalog parties, with hopes of getting my own web site for easier access to those not in my area.

At my very first Cooking Show, I made two of the featured items Pampered Chef loves to teach:

Strawberry Amaretto Pastries
Three-Cheese Garden Pizza
I'm so excited to see where this adventure takes me. If anything, I get to buy, test, and get FREE Pampered Chef products to continue my LOVE for cooking!!!

Dannen's Dedication

What an awesome day!!! March 21st was the day we dedicated Dannen Michael at our church (William's theatre) Grace Church Melbourne. We are so thankful to have our wonderful son in our lives... honestly one of the best things to ever happen to our family:) *Of course, Kaylie and Makenzie would be the other two!*

As a mom of two beautiful girls, I was so super excited to dress my son for this wonderful event. Dannen sported his very first tie!!! Yes, it was a clip-on, but he sure did a great job wearing it! The little suit pants, shirt and vest added more to his charming smile.
During the ceremony, Dannen even gave THE BIGGEST smile to our pastor... priceless!!! He was calm the entire time, staying quiet even while being blessed with water and prayed over by both the pastor and his wife.

Thanks to our family and friends that helped celebrate a very important time in all of our lives. Our baby boy sure is amazing!!!

Family Visit!

We had a wonderful family drive down to visit us... William's sister Melynda, brother-in-law Matt and niece Layken!!! It was the second time William met his sister... and first time for meeting the rest of the family. I was very excited to finally meet more of William's birth family for the first time:) We chat through Facebook a lot, but it's never the same until meeting in person.
Our first full day together was half spent at the local mall. Everyone went on an Easter Egg Hunt together and did fun little kid crafts.
The kids even got to meet THE EASTER BUNNY! Dannen was a bit unsure, hence the sitting on the ground LOL
That night, the girls hung out watching movies together. It was so neat hearing them giggle and talk to one another:)
After church on Sunday, we all hung out together, just relaxing. William and Matt enjoyed playing on the computers/game systems, while Melynda and I entertained the kiddos. Time to pull out the kitchenware! Dannen has his own cabinet full of fun things to bang, throw, play with, and put together.
Makenzie and Layken had a blast taking turns playing in the cabinet... How many 4 year olds can you fit in one place? :P
Since Kaylie is doing EXTREMELY well in school, we kept her out, and headed to the zoo. It was beautiful outside! Makenzie really liked seeing the new Cheetah exhibit.
My three monkeys watching the giraffes. Hopefully within the nest few weeks, they'll let the newest giraffe, born March 3rd, visit with the crowds.
Here's the family trying to feed the giraffes:)
Hmmm... that's a long drop!
Daddy's girls:)
Girl cousins!!!!! Kaylie, Makenzie and Layken
"Uncle Matt's AWESOME!"... our girls really had fun with him:)
Kaylie relaxing on the train...
Brothers:) Matt and William
Oh yeah... Dannen's mobile this time at the zoo!
Hey, what's up there???
Let's go for a walk, Daddy...
Thanks sooooo much to our family for visiting... can't wait to see everyone again real soon!!! LUV YA:)

First Grade Musical

Kaylie had her very first musical back in February. We've waited a long time to see her show off the singing and performing skills worked on all semester. The school's musical was titled "Let's Hear It For America!".

Mommy and Kaylie goofing around with the camera:P
Getting ready to share the fun!
Proud little first grader!
Supporting our big girl... Daddy, Auntie, Grand-ma-ma, Dannen, Zamma, and Grandma.
We're so lucky to have my Grandma visiting to share in this awesome event!
GREAT job Kaylie! This was the first of many musicals in your future:)

Grand-ma-ma=)

My Grandma visited from Wisconsin the entire month of February! The last time I saw her was a month after delivering MAKENZIE! She was one of the first to hold her second great-grandchild. It was really nice getting time to spend talking with her, and especially sitting back and observing... she's a wonderful woman! I'm very thankful to have her in my life:)
Kaylie was very excited to see her Grand-ma-ma. She remembered that her middle name was from Grand-ma-ma's first name:)
Makenzie was talking about how she shares the same state with Grand-ma-ma. Makenzie was born in Wisconsin!
This was the first time Dannen and my Grandma met one another. She kept saying how handsome he was, and how he always had a smile on his face:)
