Dannen pics

I have so many pictures of Dannen that I wanted to share some:) He's been growing so fast and becoming quite the little character. He loves to lay on his back and grab his toes, rocking from side-to-side. Dannen also laughs hysterically when the girls make funny noises or dance while he jumps in the jumperoo. I'll have to take some videos of him blowing raspberries and laughing:)

First food: Sweet Potatoes... thumbs up!
Look I can hold my bottle!
Second food: Green beans... thumbs WAY down!
Cozy little napper...
I can stand!!! (Sorry so blurry- Kaylie took the pic)
Makenzie helped with Dannen's first juice test: Apple... thumbs up!
Third food: Peas... can't put my hand any higher for the HUGE thumbs up!
Fourth food: Pears... thumbs up for more!

New Bedroom Set

Thanks to our good friends the SantaMaria's, the girls have a new bedroom set! We've been hoping to get them bunk beds for the longest time. Kaylie and I made the fairly quick 2 hour drive to Lake Worth and picked up all the pieces. Thanks to Phil for his masterful loading skills!
The day after bringing it home, I was very anxious to getting building. All but the top was completed by the end of the day. Kaylie and Makenzie enjoyed sleeping on the bottom together.
Father's Day was William's chance to help me finish putting it all together. Linens were placed, books organized, drawers filled, and finishing touches hung... how cool to be a little girl again!

Dannen even helped Daddy with THE DRILL!End of day one- tah dah!
Finished room:)

Father's Day Poem

FOOTPRINTS
"Walk a little slower, Daddy,"
Said a child so small.
"I'm walking in your footsteps
And I don't want to fall.

Sometimes your steps are very fast,
Sometimes they're hard to see;
So walk a little slower, Daddy,
For you are leading me.

Someday when I'm all grown up,
You're what I want to be;
Then I will have a little child
Who'll want to follow me.

And I would want to lead just right,
And know that I was true;
So, walk a little slower, Daddy,
For I must follow you."

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Friday, June 12th... definitely an important calendar event! After being gone from the movie theatre business since 2005, William is overjoyed to join the entertainment industry again as...
THE GENERAL MANAGER!!!
On Monday the 8th, we found a listing of a theatre being taken over and wanting to hire every staff position. William applied online with hopes of getting to the scheduled Wednesday job fair. Within 10 minutes, the VP messaged William back requesting his appearance Wednesday. Since he had a commitment at noon, William wrote back inquiring an earlier visit Wednesday to allow ample time for a proper interview. It was set... 10am! William was the first person interviewed for the new theatre. They requested another meeting for Friday, during his Wednesday interview. At that meeting, William was welcomed to the company as the General Manager... HIS theatre!!! This place has kitchen/restaurant service, allowing customers an atmosphere to enjoy their food at tables while watching their movie.
We're SO PROUD of his determination and desire to follow his heart and finally get back to what he does best!
On Saturday, we enjoyed family time. William will begin working at the theatre this Wednesday, while following through with his two week notice for Pizza Hut. So, how did William want to celebrate the BIG news?
...by teaching Dannen how to grill!
We had a great BBQ, complete with all the yummy fixings:) The girls enjoyed playing bubbles while William showed off his grilling skills. Dannen was quite interested in everything going on. What a great way to spend together... celebrating something that's been a long time coming. Congratulations William!!!

4 Months Already!?

Just four months ago, Dannen joined our family weighing in at 9.1 pounds and measuring 22.5 inches. Today he's 19.75 pounds and 27.5 inches tall!!! Dannen's over the 97% for both categories. He's been eating only four times a day, 6-7oz each time. A 6am-10am-2pm-6pm routine has been great!

With all the jumping around in the jumperoo and wiggling, he'll be ready to take off soon. Tummy time is still not liked, but let him sit up and even on his own sometimes, and he's one happy baby:)

We tried cereal three times before he caught a little cold, so now it's back to cereal for real. On Monday we're starting to introduce veggies... bring on the sweet potatoes, then peas... yum:)

Just chillin'
Dannen's 1st roll... Okay, half roll!

Ohhhhhhhh the POWER!
What??? I'm playing!!!
***Yes, our son is sporting a girly bib... it's from the girls saying "I love my sister"***
Dannen had some WiLd hair. I gave in and let William buzz it all to one length!
Much better:)

Today marks 8 years since William and I were married:)
We have lived in eleven different homes/apartments, 6 different cities, and 3 different states, all within the 10 1/2 years of being a couple. Our most precious "accomplishments" are definitely our three beautiful children:)
So, Happy Anniversary to us:) Bring on another year!

Daddy/Daughter Dance

What a special treat! Kaylie and William attended Eau Gallie's First Baptist's First Daddy/Daughter Dance. The night began with getting all dressed up and making sure everything looked perfect:)

Once at the dance, William and Kaylie had their pictures taken by the professional photographer and Kaylie was presented with a beautiful little corsage. Afterwards, they headed to the craft area, where Kaylie made William a Father's Day card (which will contain their picture being sent before Father's Day) and a pretty cool cupcake:) They enjoyed yummy snacks and great music. There was even a chocolate fondue with fruits and bread.

Throughout the night, the DJ played really nice music. Of course, the song "Butterfly Kisses" came on. William's favorite was dancing to the song "Stealing Cinderella" with Kaylie. At one point, the organizers were trying to give away a Family Funtastic Package to the local bowling alley. No one came up to claim the prize, so they decided to have a dance-off to see who could win them. Picture this: Loud speakers play "YMCA" and William tossed Kaylie on his shoulders, ran to the middle of the dance floor, and Kaylie proceeded to do the hand motions... yes, they won!!! They also came home with tons of coupons for free meals at Subway, Chilis, Bob Evans, Chick-fil-A, and Dominoes.

Talk about making some great memories! <3

Kaylie's friends Morgan and Elizabeth enjoyed the night with their Daddy's, too!

Memorial Day fun

On Memorial Day, we headed over to the beach to play on the really neat Pirate Playground. It was sooo nice out! After some fun, we took in the sites on the beach. William walked the girls down to the water, while Dannen enjoyed a little nap. Can't wait for our actual beach trip coming up soon:)

Notice Kaylie jumping from her swing! Makenzie could swing ALL DAY if we let her...
