UPDATES

Summer is almost over- WHEW! It has been absolutely crazy around here. Trying to entertain three little ones made for long days full of laughs and energy.
Kaylie has lost a total of three teeth so far... two more to follow soon. She has become quite the fashionista- trying to make her own little fancy outfits out of everything in her closet/dresser. Kaylie has been a wonderful helper playing teacher with Makenzie. Her reading skills have continued to grow. First grade starts August 10th! She will be attending a brand new charter school where uniforms are required-YAY!
Makenzie grew a full inch this summer! She and Kaylie now wear the same clothes. Makenzie loves to sing anything, ANYWHERE! Her favorite time during the day is when she gets to play on the computer- amazing how much a three year old knows. She has also become very picky about her hair, always wanting to do it on her own. We're looking forward to having special learning time once Kaylie goes back to school.
Dannen is one growing baby boy! We're amazed at his strong desire to do everything but be on his tummy. His jumperoo should have flown apart by now with how much he jumps all the time. He learned how to sit on his own, up to a good 15 minutes unassisted. Dannen's laughs ring throughout the apartment especially when the girls get him going. He's definitely a "mama's boy" <3
William has been very hard at work. It's been a full month on the 1st of August that his theatre has been up and running. With 50-60 hours/week, he breathes his job! We're so proud of everything he's accomplished. It's been wonderful bringing the kids to see Daddy at work... hard to tell who's smile is bigger:)
William took a few days and recently flew to Texas. Two days later, he's back with his Mom, Carol. They packed everything up, stored a bunch, and brought the rest here for Carol to live with us. The girls are ecstatic! We've been very anxious to finally get her to Florida. She brought along her cat, Spook. What a cutie! Poor cat has been fidgeted over so much already:p I was very happy to organize and rearrange everything to make sure everyone was to be comfy and enjoying their own spaces... The girls have their own room still, decked out with all of their toys now. Dannen is back in his own room (we brought him back into ours when his monitor broke, and never moved him back LOL) He looks so grown up in by himself! Carol has one of the two master bedroom/bathroom combos. We're back to OUR bedroom- YAY!
I've been enjoying motherhood:) Seeing my kids grow each day, helping them learn, and keeping our place together is very rewarding. It's been a big change with not seeing William a lot, but WELL worth it. I'm excited about getting to help Kaylie with 1st grade. Makenzie is a little sponge, so I'm itching to get learning projects started. Dannen will be mobile soon, so this Mama is gearing up for some fun! With the six-month mark coming soon of having Dannen, I'm planning my exercise routine/weight loss program. Can't wait to get back to "normal"... hoped to be there already, but life happens:)

Modeling

Our little Makenzie is getting info updated at the John Casablanca's Modeling Agency. We were contacted the other day to send in some new head and full body shots. (Glad my photography skills will help out for these!) She's grown to 43 1/3 inches already! So much for little girl clothes, too... she wears size 5T bottoms and size 6 shirts. August holds a "Back-to-School" fashion show event for her to enjoy:)

Birthday Wishes & Tooth Fairy

A day late... Happy 30th Birthday William:) Let the "fun" times begin!
Happy Birthday!
Kaylie has been working on getting a tooth loose for quite a while now. She hoped to time it when William was available to help her pull it out. We stopped at William's theatre yesterday, to drop of his very yummy Heath Flavored Ice Cream Birthday Cake. Kaylie showed him how wiggly her tooth had become ever since taking him to work earlier in the morning:)
We jumped back in the car and headed down to Sebastian's Splash Fountain Playground for the day. My mom and sister took Makenzie in their car, while I had Dannen and Kaylie. We drove for maybe 15 minutes and stopped at the grocery store. While waiting for my mom, Kaylie got VERY excited, climbed in the front seat, and proceeded to pull her tooth out! OMG it was so gross! I went to squirt Orajel on my finger when she said, "Mommy, it's already out!"
Kaylie called William right after, and said, "Daddy, I pulled my tooth out for you. Happy Birthday!"

5 Months!

Our son is 5 months old already... wow!
He weighs in at 22 pounds, 28.25 inches... over 99% for both.
Dannen wears 12-18 month clothes- more towards 18 months because of his length.
He enjoys cereal with a touch of fruit in the morning and a bottle,
bottle for snack,
veggies, fruit and bottle for lunch,
cereal with fruit, veggies and small bottle for dinner,
and finally a bottle before bedtime.
Dannen sleeps great, usually 8pm until 6/630am.
His favorite activities include jumping like crazy in his jumperoo,
sitting up on his own, rocking and stretching on the floor,
jumping while being held, bath time,
and of course any time with his sisters!
He blows raspberries, giggles and even says "mama" every once in a while:)
What a blessing to have on our lives!

Kaylie's Birthday Celebrations

This year, Kaylie wanted to go bowling for her birthday. The five of us met up with our good family friend Travis and spent the evening bowling. Kaylie had a blast! We were pretty impressed at how by the end of the night, she was bowling all on her own, with no assistance at all:) ~Sadly, my batteries died, so I only caught a few pics!~

Afterwards we went to every one's favorite restaurant, Olive Garden- yum:) The girls eat really well every time we visit. Unfortunately, they stopped singing for birthdays, so our friend Travis took William and the girls out for ice cream afterwards to celebrate.

The next day, we had a small party here at our apartment. Usually I plan weeks in advance and go crazy decorating/organizing, but with so much going on with William's new job and lots of things happening here at home, I threw a get-together really last minute. Thankfully, Kaylie had a nice time and enjoyed her little friends:)

Project Time!

Kaylie and Makenzie have been keeping pretty busy this summer with lots of projects and trips to the mall playground. With it being so ridiculously hot outside, I try to keep them as entertained as possible while indoors:)
