Happy Halloween

We had a great Halloween! Kaylie was a little Angel in disguise, aka a devil lol, Makenzie a "gotta-stay-warm" Cheetah, and Dannen a Red Police Power Ranger!
Our family spent a few hours working the church pumpkin patch, followed by dinner with our church family and Trunk or Treat (held indoors due to the wind!).

After the fun at church, we went with friends to trick-or-treat in a nearby neighborhood. All three kiddos enjoyed their friends and candy, followed by an easy bedtime. Thankful we could all be together to celebrate :)

Pumpkin Carving

Oh, how I love carving pumpkins! It's always funny to watch the facial expressions when dealing with goopy, gooey, messy things LOL
Kaylie
 Makenzie
 Dannen
All four cats got into the fun this year!
Abby
Boots (the least interested, keeping her distance)
 Sunshine
 Shadow
I love the fun tools that make carving super easy!
 My loves and their creations...
All we need now are the costumes...

Fall 2012 Soccer Season

What a busy Fall Soccer Season!!! With four teams to juggle, William and I had our hands full... I coached Dannen's team, the Jellyfish. William coached two teams, the Scorpion Fish- a put-together bunch of kids, and Kaylie's team, the Wildcats. Makenzie played on the Chimpanzees and practiced on Thursday evenings. All three other teams practiced on Tuesdays. Games were Saturdays, between 8:15am-2:30pm.
We had such a great time with all the new parents and kids this year!!!
As Dannen's coach, I have no pictures of him on my team, BIG SAD FACE =(, but I do have one of him playing on William's Scorpion Fish. Even though they were the next league level up, Dannen was more than ready to help out...
I didn't get many chances to take pics of my girls this season, but one day they played at the same time, next to each other, right after I coached Dannen... (OHHHHH, Makenzie and Dannen scored their very first goals, too!!! Kaylie gets credit for a backwards-kickin from the other team, as well as at least 8 "almost" goals lol)

All three kiddos made some awesome friends this season... Makenzie really enjoyed playing on the same team as Olivia and Abby (friends pictured in her birthday party post), Kaylie played again with Ellie (from last season) and her newest friend Tyler, whom she was quite fond of lol, and Dannen played with Tanner & Olivia (from last season) and his new buddies Elijah & Austin :)
William and I are so thankful to be a part of a great organization. Teaching kids about soccer along with lessons about God are something that touches our hearts! William was told about how important of a figure he's become to one young man, pushing him more and helping with his confidence. I was honored to hear from parents how much they enjoyed seeing their kids smile and love the game with me as their coach... Truly amazing to be in the lives of so many kids, doing something we love!!!
Great soccer season, kiddos... bring on Spring 2013:)

Pumpkin Patch

Our trip to the Pumpkin Patch happened while serving our church. The youth group has a Pumpkin Patch each year, and we signed up to work a shift. Not that I was a fan of the cold temps and drizzles, but all of us actually had a fun time together!
Kaylie, Makenzie and Dannen definitely got their time's worth in this year...
 Working the money table together...
Cheesin' up for the camera...
My little light of joy...
This was the biggest pumpkin winner...
"I can do it!"... strong for a 3 year old lol
Best buddies...
What's your favorite?
Mommy & Daddy pic...
Love her bright eyed smile :)
Makenzie was quite entertained to find this stem not attached lol
Hahaha... Dannen trying to give me a grumpy face!
My loves... hard to think how far apart in age they are yet how close they look!!!
Pumpkin carving to come...

Birthday Party Fun

Makenzie's birthday party was so much fun! She loves playing soccer, so we planned a nice party at our soccer field. She was very excited to help make the cupcakes...
I was excited, and yes, had tooooo much time on my hands the night before, to create these fun water bottle labels. I love Wal-Mart's ribbon section!!!
With her favorite color purple, she requested a splash of pink and green as well lol
All 18 kids and William (dressed appropriately in his referee attire) headed on the field for a game of soccer among friends :)
Even though I forgot the candle, all her friends enjoyed singing "Happy Birthday" to Makenzie!
Up next was present time! I must admit... I was quite impressed with William implementing my organizational skills and getting all the kids to calmly sit during the present-opening fun lol
Big sister Kaylie was right by her side, oohing and aahing at all the great gifts!
I've never seen so many jewelry and make-up kits! LOL
Makenzie LOVES her two best buddies Olivia and Abby... they play soccer together as the "Chimpanzees" :)
Seriously... this "girlie luggage on wheels" was awesome!!!
She had been asking for a LaLaLoopsy doll for ages... and her friend also has a huge collection of Monster High dolls that caught her interest... and the collection begins! :)
Such a great day with friends... really couldn't have asked for a better turn-out or wonderful gifts... Very thankful for everyone helping make our daughter's day memorable :)
