Molar #1

Kaylie's started on her molars now... After recently losing her 10th tooth, one of her molars began bugging her. Right before bed, she kept complaining that it was really wiggly and she wanted it out. So, what do you know... she went in the bathroom and after just a few trips out to show us her progress, the tooth was out :) She's a pro! No tears, just a HUGE smile. Never knew anyone so at ease with pulling out teeth lol
The Tooth Fairy was super nice and left two quarters this time... guess bigger teeth mean double the reward! (*not a good time to run out of sandwich bags... since our tradition is to label a baggie and pin it to the wall of their bedroom entrance so the Tooth Fairy doesn't forget (lol)... had to resort to the huge freezer bag... must be prepared for the next surprise tooth extraction event!*)

Makenzie's Monster High Party

Our sweet Makenzie wanted a Monster High birthday party. These dolls are sooo cute! They're nothing like the sassy Bratzs dolls... they have a theme and actually have good lessons on the cartoon :)
Makenzie got to invite friends from school, church and her soccer team, with a limit of 16 total.
We planned a huge make-your-own ice cream sundae bar
The toppers were little "decomposition books" and key chains
Can't have a party without chips and pizza
Makenzie LOVED dressing up in her Lagoona Blue costume! (Two birds with one stone... Zamma treated all three kids to costumes to use for Halloween, too.)
Each friend got to decorate their very own microphones with Monster High Stickers
Then it was time to sing/dance to music... (Kaylie rocked her costume!)
15 girls + Dannen + Auntie Tricia... LOTS OF PIZZA!
Dannen, all smiles with his ice cream and Iron Patriot costume
LOVE THESE KIDDOS! Some wore costumes and some got to have hair headbands... super cute!
Thanks for an awesome party and gifts... very happy 8 year old with great friends :)
